SAVE THE DATE: Cardiomyopathies Matter 2024 Summit on November 12th Cardiomyopathies Matter Summit 2024

Cardiomyopathies Matter (CMatter) is delighted to announce that its 2024 Summit will take place on November 12th from 14:00 to 17:00 (CET), both in-person at Town Hall Europe, Brussels, and online.

At the dawn of the 2024-2029 European legislature, it is crucial to address cardiomyopathies, which continue to be under-recognized despite their significant impact on young and active populations, and to ensure they receive the attention they deserve in EU healthcare discussions.

The Cardiomyopathies Matter Summit is a unique opportunity to put emphasis on the often-overlooked impact of cardiomyopathies. It will allow stakeholders, healthcare leaders, and policy influencers to share best practices and drive policy change. By attending, you’ll be getting involved in shaping European healthcare strategies that improve detection, care, and ultimately reduce the burden of cardiomyopathies.

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Tomislav Sokol, Member of the European Parliament
  • Enrique Terol, Health Attaché, Spanish Permanent Representation to the European Union
  • James Kennedy, Advocacy Director, European Society of Cardiology
  • Ester Costafreda, co-founder, Spanish organisation for arrhythmias associated with sudden death (SAMS)
