This policy debate seeks to inform the public conversation on the importance of promoting early diagnosis of cardiomyopathies. To that end, Cardiomyopathies Matter brought together experts and patients with a Member of the European Parliament to reflect on actions needed to improve patients’ pathways, foster early diagnosis of cardiomyopathy, reflect on best practices, and ensure that policy action is taken at the European level for it to cascade down into the national level.
